Operinter Valencia renews Valenciaport’s Marca de Garantía certificate

Operinter Valencia has just renewed its Marca de Garantía certification for two more years. The title implies that the company has been, once again, evaluated and complies with all the requirements specified in the regulations for the use of the brand as well as the procedures required by Valenciaport, the trade name that brings together the three ports managed by the Port Authority of Valencia (Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía).

Specifically, the certification guarantees quality in the customs area, in container flows, in the expediting of bills of lading and inspections of goods at the IFCSM (Border Facility for the Sanitary Control of Goods) for containers, in addition to Operinter assuming the general obligations that the Marca de Garantía equires of freight forwarders.

Currently, this is not the only certification the company has, as Operinter Barcelona has the Efficiency Network seal, while the holding company accredits the AEO, ISO 9001 and IATA certifications.

Commitment to quality

The renewal of this title is another example of the commitment of the company integrated in Alonso Group to its policy of quality and continuous improvement of processes. In fact, with more than 35 years of experience in international trade, Operinter is a leading integral operator in Spain, which also has international offices located in the main centres of logistics activity in world trade.

The commitment to these standards of improvement is in line with the policy that Alonso Group is also developing through the continuous improvement of the quality of its products and services, and the development of a culture of excellence in all the companies of the group.

Marca de Garantía

The Marca de Garantía is the quality system of the port community implemented in the ports of Valencia and Sagunto. Under the umbrella of this brand, companies and public bodies coordinate to offer customers of both sites (importers, exporters and shipping lines) guaranteed global service standards, which also ensures greater visibility and awareness.

Some of the commitments assumed by forming part of the Marca de Garantía are common IT services, the promotion of training and quality systems, coverage and quality systems or transparency in invoicing.
