Throughout the month of February Operinter has participated in two international fairs in order to publicize its main services to customers, partners and visitors. One of them was the Imex fair in Madrid, which brought together professionals from more than 65 countries. The aim of the event was to bring together professionals from the foreign sector in order to promote the internationalisation of SMEs and to face the challenges that this process entails.
Operinter had its own stand and, throughout the two days of the exhibition, there were different presentations that aroused the interest of the attendees. The topics dealt with were: the main novelties of the European Union customs code, cold logistics, as well as the origin of goods and the new systems for their certification.

As experts in customs and perishable goods, Operinter demonstrated to all its clients its level of experience in logistics and integral management of transport to any part of the world.
First of all, José Manuel González, specialist in customs, was in charge of the presentation on the main novelties of the EU Customs Code, one of the ones that aroused more interest as it is a matter that must be taken into account day by day. Secondly, Julio Alonso, reefer manager at Operinter Cartagena, developed the topic of cold logistics in the context of world maritime traffic.
In total IMEX Madrid has hosted more than 93 conferences and two round tables. The event closed with a gala dinner and the awarding of prizes to businessmen with great international experience.
Cevisama 2019
On the other hand, Operinter Castellón, always an ally of the tile industry, did not want to miss, one more year, the international fair of the sector, Cevisama held in Valencia. Since it opened four years ago, the office has been working to understand the needs of a sector in constant evolution and has managed to develop tailor-made logistics solutions for both manufacturers and importers, exporters and related industries.
Currently one of the countries in which Operinter Castellón is cooperating with greater intensity is India. The Morbi industrial zone, located in the province of Gujarat, is one of the most powerful ceramic manufacturing clusters in the world, and one of the most important commercial development hubs for the Castellón industry. Operinter has several offices in India, managed through Alonso Logistics India.
This edition of Cevisama brought together some 94,000 professionals, 17,000 of whom were foreign buyers. Now we have our sights set on the 2020 event, which has a date: it will be held from 3 to 7 February at Feria Valencia.
