For the fourth consecutive year, Alonso Group has participated in the organization of the Master in Maritime Law and Port Logistics of the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) and whose edition ended with the delivery of diplomas.
Throughout the academic year, the students have received master classes from the directors of the different companies in the group, including Miguel Rocher, managing director of Operplus. They have also been able to visit some of its facilities or logistics platforms.
Theory and practice
Incoterms, the world of customs, the functioning of the transport of perishable goods, maritime traffic, container terminals, railway paper or air transport are some of the topics that have aroused great interest among future professionals in the logistics sector.
In addition, the students have visited the Intersagunto port terminal in the port of Sagunto, the Setemar logistics platform or the Pobla Marina marina located in Pobla de Farnals.
During the nine months of teaching, they have had the opportunity to acquire the most up-to-date knowledge, but also to get to know the reality of the environment in which they are going to work.
II Edition Alonso Scholarship
This year the Alonso Scholarship has been reinstated. Thanks to an agreement with the Catholic University of Valencia, the student who has stood out significantly is offered an employment contract in one of the companies of the group. It is valued, both for the level of use of the course, and their skills or potential in professional development.
It is an opportunity to enter the professional market and gain experience in one of the most important companies in the national and international logistics sector.
As part of its corporate values, Alonso Group is aware of the importance of collaborating in training and in the search for new talents in order to aspire to excellence in each of the fields in which it carries out its activities.
